how do you think the text would look the same colour as the coloured strips they are next to? i might try that!

I dig girl or sis, but I do think the crazyness of the submenues and content buts head with the way your EightyThree design logo on the top left. That is nice straight and proper and the menus are all over the place. Just a humble opinion. Dig all the work on the bottom and the colors used.

I'm a minimalist at heart, but I've always loved color- and this is a nice mix of both! The angled text is a fun way to present your skills, too. :clap:
