I just can't get inspired lately. I havent picked my camera up for ages, not since my holiday. I do need to get it cleaned though!
I really want to go out but never seem to have the time and i'm low on inspiration too, anyone have any ideas?! It does help looking at my favourites so maybe i'll find inspiration there. Right i'm waffling now!

I'm off to France on Friday. A Road trip down to Perpignan near the Pyrenees. I can't wait, really need 2 weeks to relax and hopefully get some decent photography. I've got my new Cokin z-pro filters to play with too

Just hope that i'm inspired down there.

I HATE JESSOPS!

It's offical they must be the worst shop ever, the worst customer service. I don't understand how something should take 4 weeks to arrive, so how can something then take 8 weeks in total? I've ordered the Cokin z-pro ND Grad kit and it was supposed to arrive in store last week, but now after 5 weeks i've complained about it and they say it's not going to be in store until may 11th, i go away on the 22nd so it better be there!! It's ridiculous! I wouldnt have ordered from there if i didnt have £40 vouchers to spend. Seriously won't be buying anything from them ever again!
Apart from that I've ordered a new tripod and head from amazon (a great site with great customer service and fast delivery - if only they had the filter kit!!) should come before the end of the week.
I'm going to France next month, we are driving to a little village near the Pyrenees near Perpignan. Really can't wait for that, so close to Spain and the mountains and also not too far from Monte Carlo

Should hopefully get to use my new lens (canon 17-85mm IS lens) new tripod and new filters and should get some decent pictures.

I'm bored, I havent updated my journal for ages so to fill a bit of time here are some random thoughts etc.
I'm watching The Long Way Round at the moment, makes me want to travel, at first I didnt think I was going to like it coz I'm a big Michael Palin fan. I'm very impressed with it though, its entertaining. I really have to do more travelling, even if its only in GB. I'm a member of the National Trust and I recently got the 2009 guide book which has given me some great ideas for local(ish) places to go.
