I HATE JESSOPS!

It's offical they must be the worst shop ever, the worst customer service. I don't understand how something should take 4 weeks to arrive, so how can something then take 8 weeks in total? I've ordered the Cokin z-pro ND Grad kit and it was supposed to arrive in store last week, but now after 5 weeks i've complained about it and they say it's not going to be in store until may 11th, i go away on the 22nd so it better be there!! It's ridiculous! I wouldnt have ordered from there if i didnt have £40 vouchers to spend. Seriously won't be buying anything from them ever again!
Apart from that I've ordered a new tripod and head from amazon (a great site with great customer service and fast delivery - if only they had the filter kit!!) should come before the end of the week.
I'm going to France next month, we are driving to a little village near the Pyrenees near Perpignan. Really can't wait for that, so close to Spain and the mountains and also not too far from Monte Carlo

Should hopefully get to use my new lens (canon 17-85mm IS lens) new tripod and new filters and should get some decent pictures.

About the journal topic: I thought it's common only for our ukrainan stores

damn. I do understand you very well, my friend had a similar situation in official Canon store, when he had to wait for 3 (!) months to recieve his photobag.

Cokin Z and X Pro filters are VERY hard to get hold of. Like lees they are made to order. I personally would say go with Lees over Cokin. If they havn't gotten them when you get back, cancel the order and order a lee system from Robert White in poole. They're the only place that actually stock them and have them availble.

Last thing I heard over a year ago was that cokin was having major problems making the resins for the Z and X pro filters, so that could explain the hold up.

But yea, NEVER shop at jessops. Their extortionate!

Well the guy in the shop checked the computer today and it said they would be in store on the 11th so it's better than them just saying they're still on order. I understand they have to wait for them to be made but i ust don't like Jessops anyway, i like any excuse to have a pop at them!! I wouldnt have used them if i didnt have £40 vouchers but it did mean i only had to pay about £90 for the filters.

it's ridiculous, you pay money for a service they claim to provide and they just mess you around once they have your money. What happened to the customer is always right? 3 months for a bag?! you could have made one yourself in that time!
